Being an NGO our involvement not only lies in the field of ice skating. We actively push ourselves to bring forth the talents of the youth in various fields. Our main focus right now is on the region _____. Being a rural area, education is an important aspect that they miss often. We give regular theoretical as well as practical sessions. Community activities, cleanliness drives, and plantation drives are some of our initiatives that have proven to be beneficial for the native environment.

Going forward we aim to bring our practice to other villages in Ladakh.

Metrics and Goals

Education

Singela Partners is working towards transforming the educational structure of rural areas of Ladakh. We are trying to redefine rural education through blended learning (online & offline) & digital lessons for children in remote villages, with the support of local communities and a team of selfless Volunteer Teachers from across the globe. The children from these remote areas receive mainstream education along with education about various skills for a promising & rewarding future. Once they receive education, these youth members of the village endlessly work for the development of the village. We are witnessing a tremendous change in the skills of the individuals receiving training.

Community Participation

By encouraging the community members to participate in various activities, we aim to foster a sense of family which in turn helps the youth in the long run.

Cleanliness drive

For a clean and green Ladakh Singela Partner's cleanliness drives are a wonderful opportunity for people’s participation and they are major avenues to raise awareness of the importance of cleanliness in one’s neighborhood.

Plantation drive

Global warming along with pollution, deforestation, poor waste management, and continued use of fossil fuels are on the rise. All these factors not only pose a threat to our ecological balance but also threatens our very own existence. While going green is the need of the hour, we all know it can be tough or time-consuming to make the world a better place. This is where Singela Partner’s plantation drive came into action.

The plantation campaign by Singela Partner is aimed at reviving the native flora and environmental protection against climate change. We urge the local people, communities, corporates, & government to plant as many trees as possible in their vicinity and areas. Singela Partner hopes for a sustainable environment consciousness condition for the coming future to increase the green cover.

Community Impact

Every member of the community is giving their all to make their village the best version of it. With our 99 Plantation drive, 99 cleanliness drives, 99 + sessions, and 99+ ice skating training session the village of ____ has definitely improved and we also have a lot of skilled ice skaters going for professional skating training.

With all this, it's safe to say that our methods and training are working and we'd like to take these to other villages and open multiple centers across Ladakh.
